Just An Update—Ready Player Two On November 24

Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline

The sequel to my favorite novel, Ready Player One is finally coming on November 24 this year. Ready Player One is my favorite book. The thing that I like about this novel, it the whole idea/concept itself. It is very futuristic, but not the too far in future because we already have VR. I like how Ernest Cline presented the potential of virtual reality, how people could spend more time in Oasis than in a dystopian world. I was completely sold with the concept that a virtual world has taken over the real one where everything is there, from school to market and to the even smallest of things. The VR world is a lot more exciting than the real one.

I don’t particularly like the movie adaptation because it changed a lot of scenes and they completely changed the first easter egg. Although I do understand the need to change it because of copyright claims of all the references in the books, I still want too see it like how I envisioned it to be.

Ready Player Two. I like to see what’s new to the Oasis and the new easter eggs. Will there be another egg hunt? If not, where will the story revolve? I want more chapters for Samantha Cook (Art3mis) and Wade Watts (Parzival) together because they’ve only met in real life in the last short chapter of the book. There are people saying that this will be not as good as the first one, but I don’t care about that. All I want is more of it.

That’s all. Thanks a lot
See You Next Week
Ciao!
